The Absolute Bamboo brush has a handle made from 100% biodegradable sustainably grown bamboo. The bristles are made from nylon and need to be removed prior to composting the handle. To remove the bristles, we suggest using pliers to pull them out or snapping off the head of the brush. A bit of an effort, but worth it! The packaging is cardboard and is fully recyclable. Dentists recommend brushing for 2 minutes, twice a day for proper oral-care. You should replace your toothbrush at least every 3 month.
